My Journey at Bronson
I have worked for Bronson for 11 years. I started at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital as a floor nurse and transferred to Bronson at Home. I have done home care for the last 10 years. I worked as a field clinician providing patient care for 9 years and transitioned to the quality department last year. With every role change I have felt encouraged and supported by my leaders and my peers.
A Day in the Life
Just a little bit of what I do consists of reviewing documentation, collaboration with field clinicians, managing the Infection Prevention Program and TJC preparedness. There are many things the quality department does on a daily basis—I am always learning new things even after a year!
What I Love About My Job
I love to collaborate with clinicians in the field to ensure that we are providing quality care and that patients have the best outcomes. The teamwork between the quality department and the clinicians in the field allows us to give the best care possible to our patients.
Why I’m Proud to Work at Bronson
I am proud to be a Bronson employee because as a system we provide excellent care to ALL patients. I love that the Bronson System has a continuum of care from physician practices to urgent care to acute care to a skilled nursing facility to home care. This allows patients to have continuity of care throughout the system.

I have found my nursing passion in home care. Home care allows us to spend one-on-one time with patients without interruption providing individualized care. We get to provide families and caregivers with the education and support they need to safely care for their loved ones. The care we provide allows patients to stay in their home environment while receiving necessary medical care.
