The Professionalism and Compassion Everyone Showed Put Me at Ease

My wife and I recently visited Bronson Birthplace - Kalamazoo for a scheduled C-section of our first child. We found out at about 36 weeks that our son had flipped himself breech. After considering our options we decided to go forward with a scheduled c-section. From the moment we arrived to the time we were discharged I was nothing but absolutely amazed at every single person involved in her care and the care of our newborn son. Every nurse, PCA, doctor, phlebotomist and other staff made us feel completely at ease and addressed any concerns we had. I wish that I could remember everyone’s names to list them here. They truly were all exceptional and all deserve to be recognized. It was such a long journey for us to get to this point (pregnancy was only achievable through IVF) and I was so scared of all the things that could go wrong, especially during the C-section. The professionalism and compassion everyone showed put me at ease and I truly believe that the staff at the Bronson Birthplace is the only reason why we were discharged today with a perfectly healthy baby boy. There are no other words I can use to describe our experience besides exceptional. Thank you to all the staff we encountered in our journey.
