Sunshine Award: Nomination #1

Patient arrived via EMS with near syncope. Olivia quickly obtained an ECG and was instrumental in the quick discovery of a patient with a critical heart condition. Olivia was able to identify Mobitz Type 1 with acute changes in the patient's rate on the monitor. Olivia brought this to the attention of the monitor room tech, Christina, as well as the providers and myself. Without Olivia bringing this to our attention, it may have delayed patient care.

Liv is always cheerful, provides amazing care to her patients, and consistently follows Bronson's core values. She is an irreplaceable member of the ED. Even on the hardest days, she is going above and beyond for her patients. She gives 100% every day even when she feels less than.

Olivia goes above and beyond for her patients and assisting other staff members as well. We had a patient together that expressed they had not eaten in several hours- kitchen was closed at this time. Olivia went to every unit on South campus looking for something for this patient to eat. Olivia ended up completing paperwork in the cafeteria that allowed her to get them an entire tray of food that fit their dietary restrictions. Olivia consistently comes to work with a positive attitude and truly enjoys helping those around her (patients and staff). She is a joy to work with.

Olivia was so helpful on a super busy day- even after she switched pods, she continued to help and was such a team player. Olivia was the reason that I did not more behind when everything got super busy all at once. She's amazing, and I appreciate her so much.
