The world needs more nurses like her

I wish I could nominate my entire care team for the care I received during my stay from April 8th through the 13th. Once I finally got a room, everything went very quickly. Every Doctor, nurse, and patient care assistant I had contact with was absolutely phenomenal! What an amazing staff! My situation was pretty scary for me, they put me at ease and also my husband, whom they also kept very well informed and treated him with respect and kindness. 

Kayleigh O. was my first nurse when I was transferred to the 4th floor. She went out of her way to get me comfortable and settled quickly. Explained everything that was going on and what to expect during my stay. This young lady is amazing, caring and has the quality of anticipating her patients needs. How she keeps track of it is amazing. Very attentive, insightful and brought a calm over me I can't explain. I was fortunate enough to have her for 3 days. She is so deserving of knowing how much myself and my husband appreciated her care during my stay. Made a scary situation for me a lot easier to get through. Nursing is truly where her heart is!

RN Carmela H. was absolutely fantastic. She went out of her way to make me feel so comfortable. She answered all of my questions with honesty and empathy. She made sure that I knew what to expect during my stay. I have never been treated with so much respect and dignity. To have someone taking care of you in an already stressful situation that makes you feel that you are important to her is a quality not learned but truly in her heart. She even visited with me after I was transferred to another unit. The world needs more nurses like her.
