Truly an outstanding PCA
Miss Maleah is and always has been a shining star on the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). She is such a wonderful patient care assistant (PCA)! She comes to work prepared and ready to face any challenge that comes her way.
Here are some specific reasons why I believe Maleah deserves the Sunshine Award:
- Positive attitude and upbeat energy. Her cheerful demeanor creates a welcoming environment in our unit. She is always positive.
- Going above and beyond in patient care. She consistently works hard to make sure our patients feel well cared for. she never hesitates to lend a helping hand and assist anyone who needs it.
- Being and amazing team player. She collaborates seamlessly with nurses and other staff members- willing to support others in any way that she can.
Whenever she is presented with a difficult situation, she faces it head on with a smile on her face. Maleah is a joy to work with and we are blessed to have her on our unit. Her critical thinking and work ethic makes every day that she works easier and more positive. She is truly an outstanding PCA. We love you, Maleah!
