Volunteering at Bronson has better prepared me for my future

I am very grateful for the opportunity I have been given to volunteer at Bronson from the end of high school to now as a college sophomore.  Through volunteering at Bronson, I have been exposed to what it is like to work in a hospital setting.  This experience is beneficial as I hope to work in the medical field one day as a physician.  The workers at Bronson are always smiling and friendly as I visit different departments as a current hand hygiene auditor.  Specifically, my supervisors of the departments I have volunteered for have always been encouraging and helpful.  I have volunteered at three different departments so far as an Inpatient Surgery Escort, a Milk Bank, and a Hand Hygiene volunteer.  All of these positions have allowed me to grow in different ways and make a contribution by serving others.  Also, as a volunteer, I have even been given the opportunity to display my artwork at the hospital this year.  Overall, volunteering at Bronson has better prepared me for my future.
