The best staff caring for me!

It is truly an honor to nominate Jody Thompson, LPN, for the BEE Award. Throughout her years in healthcare and specifically in Paw Paw, Jody has consistently displayed exceptional performance. She not only embodies and promotes Bronson’s positivity culture and key behaviors, but also serves and an invaluable team member.

Jody has been working for Bronson Lakeview Family Care - Pediatrics for 24 years, here in this same practice even before it became a part of Bronson. Jody has taken on many extra job duties throughout the years but more recently she has been tasked with the most time consuming one - serving as our Immunization Champion. She counts vaccines weekly to make sure they are all accounted for. If a vaccine, or two, or three, or even sometimes four, five, and six are missing, she has to investigate and find them. Once they are located, she can then balance and order our vaccines for the following weeks. This takes patience and hard work.

Jody’s willingness to step up and support exceptional pediatric healthcare is commendable. Her extensive knowledge and role modeling as a preceptor and team member make her an asset to the Bronson LakeView Family Care team.

Jody exceeds all expectations by building trust, using effective communication, and always keeps her team focused on their priorities. Jody shows so much compassion in her job and daily duties, there is never a day that she is without a smile. I am sure she has those days, but she never lets that show when she is with her patients, peers, or her leaders. She demonstrates flexibility and reliability by her readiness and willingness to drop whatever she is currently doing to support her team, whether that is giving vaccines, or answering questions. 

Jody is the true definition of a team player - consistently going above and beyond to assist everyone in the office, exemplifying dedication, and excellence in her role. We are so proud to have her as a part of our Bronson Lakeview family.
