We want to make sure no one feels alone.
Kristina Ledlow stands with Good Mom book.

Mental health conditions are the number one complication of pregnancy and the leading cause of pregnancy-related death. Bronson’s Perinatal Emotional Support Program provides education, access, support and resources to patients and healthcare professionals, and has received state and national recognition.

Bronson Health Foundation supports the work of perinatal emotional support coordinators at Bronson Methodist Hospital and Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.

Thanks to generous donors, every patient who gives birth at a Bronson BirthPlace receives the
book Good Moms Have Scary Thoughts, which provides mental health guidance related to postpartum depression and stress.

“We want to make sure no one feels alone as they navigate the challenging emotions that often come with pregnancy, birth and caring for a newborn," says Kristina Ledlow, a perinatal support coordinator.
