Baby Sitter Basics

Better baby sitters today make better parents tomorrow. Designed by a pediatrician, this program teaches 11-13 year old boys and girls how to be safe sitters. This class helps baby sitters understand the importance of their role, and stresses that they are responsible for the life, health, and safety of the children in their care. They will learn childcare techniques, behavior management, handling medical emergencies, hands-on basic life saving techniques,  safety, security, child development, and age appropriate activities. Baby Sitter Basics is the abbreviated version of the Safe Sitter program. Participants receive a certificate of completion.

Registration for this class is currently CLOSED.
