Safe Sitters

Better baby sitters today make better parents tomorrow. Designed by a pediatrician, this two day class teaches 11-13 year old boys and girls how to be safe sitters. This program helps baby sitters understand the importance of their role, and stresses that they are responsible for the life, health, and safety of the children in their care. They will learn childcare techniques, behavior management, handling medical emergencies, hands-on basic life saving techniques, the business of babysitting, safety, security, child development, and age appropriate activities. Participants receive a certificate of completion.
