Many older adults are concerned about falling. Some people may even stop being active as a result of this fear. There is a better way.
A MATTER OF BALANCE is an award-winning program that will help you prevent falls and become more active.
Attendees will learn to:
- Prevent or minimize falls
- Set goals to become more active
- Reduce the risk of falling at home
- Exercise to increase strength and balance
Classes are two hours long and are held twice a week. The program is free.
Anyone may attend. Those who are interested in improving balance and strength or have fallen in the past are especially encouraged to participate. Space is limited.
