Please note that this is a tentative in-person class at this point pending COVID rates and guidance from our Bronson team regarding the safety of in-person classes. Masking will be *required* and social distancing maintained. If cancelation does occur due to COVID (or other reasons) refunds will be issued promptly.
In this two week class you will learn things that will to help you during pregnancy, labor, and delivery for vaginal and Cesarean section births, including:

- How to know when you're in labor
- Relaxation
- Breathing patterns
- Coping skills to relieve discomfort
- Pain relief both natural and medical
- Support person's role
- Postpartum experience
- And more...
This class should be taken between the 28th and 38th week of pregnancy. We expect that each mom registered will bring a support person with her to class.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
Class will be held in Bronson Gilmore Center for Health Education. You should plan to bring along one support person to class. Please check TV monitor screens to confirm which classroom.
Please bring 2 pillows and a beach towel or small blanket with you to class and dress in comfortable clothing. Also, if you have an exercise (birthing) ball or yoga mat, you may wish to bring those items. There will be floor work in class.
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
