During this class you will learn:
- Safe sleep
- How to make your home the safest possible environment
- Car seat safety from infancy and beyond
- How to talk with and teach others about safe sleep, home safety, and car seat safety
*Class content is the same at the Bronson Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and South Haven locations.
*Baby Safety Class is meant for expectant parents, while Grandparents Baby Safety Class is meant for expectant grandparents. They are the same class where you can sit and learn together with other parents and grandparents, but the registration information is different. Please encourage grandparents to sign up with you under the title "Grandparents Baby Safety Class".
This class should be taken between the 28th and 38th week of pregnancy. We invite each mom registered to bring a support person with her to class, and this in included in your registration fee.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class. Please bring your spiral bound “Your Childbirth Experience” book to each class, doctor’s appointment, and when you come to the birthplace to deliver.
The class will be held in the Bronson Gilmore Center for Health Education
