Breastfeeding provides the best nutrition for your baby. Learning to successfully breastfeed takes practice. In this class, you will learn:
- Practical information about breastfeeding
- Adjustments to make when returning to work
- Issues and special situations concerning breastfeeding
After the birth, you will receive ongoing support and education from our breastfeeding experts.
This class should be taken between the 28th and 38th week of pregnancy. We encourage each mom to bring a support person with her to class, though bringing a support person is not required.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
*Class content is the same at both the Bronson Battle Creek and Kalamazoo locations so you may take the class at either location.
This class takes place at the Bronson Battle Creek Outpatient Center.
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
