Going through cancer treatment can cause stress and anxiety. To help ease these feelings, it is important to find ways to take care of your emotional health. One way is to express yourself creatively and calm your mind through art.
Join the Bronson Cancer Center for this workshop to learn some expressive art therapy tools that can help you process the challenges you may be facing. No creative talent is needed! Expressive art healing tools that will be covered in this program include visual art, writing and guided imagery.
Presenter: Gay Walker, Expressive Art Therapist and three-time cancer survivor
This FREE introductory workshop will be held on Zoom. After this intro workshop, more workshops will be offered for each of the expressive art tools. You are encouraged to participate in one, two or all three of the following sessions after taking this introductory workshop. The Introductory Workshop is encouraged, but not a prerequisite for attending the workshops.
