Breast cancer is the second most common form of cancer among American women. The good news is that with early detection, it is highly treatable, and survival rates are high.

Join Dr. Jennifer Webb, radiation oncologist, to learn about the risk factors for developing breast cancer, as well as tips for preventing the disease, and how it can be treated if you receive a diagnosis.

Breast Cancer Stats:

  • Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States (some kinds of skin cancer are the most common).
  • Black women die from breast cancer at a higher rate than White women.
  • About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
  • There are over 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
