Breastfeeding provides the best nutrition for your baby. Learning to successfully breastfeed takes practice. In this class, you will learn:
- Practical information about breastfeeding
- Adjustments to make when returning to work
- Issues and special situations concerning breastfeeding
After the birth, you will receive ongoing support and education from our breastfeeding experts.
This class should be taken between the 28th and 38th week of pregnancy. We expect that each mom registered will bring a support person with her to class.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
*Class content is the same at both the Bronson Battle Creek and Kalamazoo locations. If you live or work near Battle Creek, or the dates and times work better for you, you may choose to take this class there (even if you plan to deliver your baby at Bronson Kalamazoo).
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
The class will be held in the basement of the Bronson Gilmore Center for Health Education
