Baby Talk is a support/play group for moms, dads, and other caregivers of infants, from birth to 1 year of age. This group meets every Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:45 pm in the Story Room at the Oshtemo Library in Kalamazoo. Enjoy a great opportunity to network with other parents and caregivers and share the joys and trials of caring for a baby. While the parents and caregivers chat, the babies interact and play together. We often share birth stories and are supportive of the emotional challenges of new families. Carolyn Call, RN moderates the group, takes part in the conversation, and can answer questions about infants and children. Call Carolyn at (269) 341-7521
for more information.
Our group supports breastfeeding. Lactation support is available at each session. (Occasionally we meet in other areas of the library instead of the story room, or outdoors in nice weather).
This free support/play group meets at Osthemo Library, 7265 W Main St, Kalamazoo.
