Description

Safe Kids Kalamazoo County hosts regular car seat inspection stations and events with nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs).

We are here to support you and your growing family.
A CPST can teach you how to install your car seat, how to safely harness your child, and help you decide when it’s time for the next step.

  • If you are an expecting parent, we will walk you through installation and fitting for your future child in their car seat.
  • These programs may offer free or low-cost car seats for eligible children of all ages.
  • Children must be present with a vehicle to participate in the replacement car seat program.
  • Pregnant parents must be at least 27 weeks to receive a car seat.
  • The Bronson Birthplaces do not have car seats available for free after delivery. Please contact one of the programs below for support.
