This class for first-time dads is designed to build your confidence and to prepare you for being a father. While most other childbirth classes encourage moms to bring dads (or another support person) with them, this class is different because it is for dads/men only.
Experienced, veteran dads from the Bronson Birthplace help teach you how to diaper, feed, and relate to your newborn. You will also learn ways you can nurture and support both mother and baby.
*If you are a dad registering independently from a mom, please place "N/A" in the mother's information section of the registration form, and in any other sections that are not applicable. Enter your phone number and your email address, please. You may also wish to consider taking other baby safety and baby care classes.
If cancelation occurs due to weather, illness, or other reasons, refunds will be issued promptly.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
Our goal is to hold this class in person at a location to be determined within the greater Kalamazoo/Portage area. There is also a possibility this class will be moved to an online format. We will communicate with you as the date draws closer to determine if you would like to remain in class or cancel (and receive a refund).
