Description

Please note that this is a tentative in-person class at this point pending COVID rates and guidance from our Bronson team regarding the safety of in-person classes.  Masking will be *optional* and social distancing maintained. If cancelation does occur due to COVID (or other reasons) refunds will be issued promptly.

This class for first-time dads is designed to build your confidence and to prepare you for being a father.  While most other childbirth classes encourage mom to bring dad (or another support person) with her, this class is different because it is for dads/men only.

Experienced, veteran dads from the Bronson Birth Place help teach you how to diaper, feed, and relate to your newborn. You will also learn about ways you can nurture and support both mother and baby.

*If you are a dad registering independently from a mom, please place "N/A"
in the mother's information section of the registration form, and in any other sections that are not applicable.  Enter your phone number and your email address please.  You may also wish to consider taking Baby Safety and Baby Care classes.

Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.

Our goal is to hold this class in person at a location to be determined within the greater Kalamazoo/Portage area.  There is also a possibility this class will be moved to an online format.  We will communicate with you as the date draws closer to determine if you would like to remain in class or cancel (and receive a refund).
