Coronavirus (COVID-19) Community Screening for Testing

Bronson is here to protect the health of our community and to guide you through the COVID-19 pandemic. As people in the community return to work, school and other activities, many have questions on COVID-19 testing at Bronson. We're here to help walk you through pre-screening steps.

Pre-screening for COVID-19 Testing 

Unsure if you or your employees, students or group members qualify to be tested for COVID-19 at Bronson? Our clinical team designed this step-by-step guide for businesses, schools and organizations based on CDC and State of Michigan guidelines.

*Symptoms of COVID-19

Symptoms may appear in as few as two days or as long as 14 days after exposure to the virus. 

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chills
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Muscle pain
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Sore throat

Approximately 95% of people with COVID-19 have at least one of the bolded symptoms.

Fever is a temperature of at least 101 F (38.3 C) once, or of at least 100.4 F (38.00 C) twice over a two-hour period.

**Prolonged Close Contact

Person has been within less than 6 feet of a COVID-19 infected person AND exposure lasted for greater than 15 minutes AND either the infected or exposed person were not wearing a medical grade mask.
