Alisa always wanted to be involved in healthcare and chose to become a physical therapist for the opportunity to improve people’s health with regard to strength and mobility. Her passion for healthcare comes from her mother, an OR nurse, and the drive she emulated for the patients she cared for.

Alisa is excited to come to work each day because she always feels like she has accomplished something worthwhile. She enjoys seeing and following up with her patients and seeing them thrive. She also enjoys the ample facilities offered at the Wellness Center and has such love for her coworkers in the clinic because they do a great job prioritizing their patients and their overall health.

She has a special interest in working with athletes, particularly with runners and volleyball players. She also enjoys working with patients with osteoporosis including guidelines for calcium intake and weight-bearing exercise.

Outside of work, she is active and enjoys spending time with her husband, Derek, and their twins, Jack and Tess. They love hiking, making crafts and playing outside. Alisa also enjoys running, strength training and especially playing sand volleyball.
