My Approach to Care

With a nursing background in women & children’s services, I approach patient care with a focus on family, education and health
promotion. I aim for a healthy patient-provider relationship with each family I serve, making a point to ensure that all information is
understood by everyone involved. I love the team approach to pediatric primary care — one that includes the patient, the family, and all
necessary specialties to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Ariel has always had a heart for people. She worked in women and children’s services as a registered nurse for six years and felt that she could contribute more to her patients as an advanced practice provider.

Ariel chose to specialize in pediatrics in order to focus on the health promotion of the youngest generation through patient and family education. She takes time with her patients to make them feel heard, understood, prepared and capable. Ariel firmly believes that everyone needs a safe place to voice concerns, questions and feedback. She is passionate about mental health and general health promotion through education, open communication and patient-provider trust.

Ariel serves in her church through childcare services and worship opportunities. In her free time, Ariel enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and being active through the Peloton community.
