Profile

What excites Ashley most about coming to work each day is the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life. She chose to become a nurse practitioner in cardiothoracic surgery because she was drawn to the complexity and intensity of the specialty. Ashley thrives in high-acuity environments where critical thinking and fast decision-making impact outcomes. She believes strong personal relationships are at the heart of great care and she always takes the time to get to know her patients and their families.

Ashley’s biggest influence in life was becoming a mother. Raising children changed how she sees the world. It taught her patience, strength and how to advocate fiercely when it matters most.

In Ashley’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. They like exploring new walking trails, painting abstract art or attending local community events. She also volunteers with animal shelters and rescue groups. She finds it incredibly rewarding to care for animals and help them find their forever homes.
