Carol has extensive experience in colorectal surgery, both personally and professionally. This unique combination fuels her desire to deliver exceptional care tailored to each patient's needs. Carol believes in a comprehensive approach to healthcare, focusing not just on symptom relief but also on identifying the root cause of the problem. Building strong connections with patients and empowering them through education are central to her care.

 

Outside of medicine, Carol is a strong advocate for her family and enjoys being a role model for her daughter, demonstrating the power of hard work and determination. She thrives on the daily variety her job offers, tackling a range of patient concerns. She has a special interest in autoimmune illnesses, inspired by her family history. Carol is passionate about giving back to the community. Previously, she volunteered at a horseback riding program for young adults with disabilities and assisted low-income individuals at the health department. When not working, you can find Carol enjoying the outdoors – walking, hiking, running, kayaking or biking – or simply relaxing at home.
