Profile

Clayton Stapert, OTD, is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life and return to the activities that matter most to them. He chose a career in occupational therapy because it allows him to combine creativity with compassionate care to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

A graduate of Western Michigan University, Clayton has a special interest in upper extremity rehabilitation, neurologic rehabilitation, and lymphedema management. He believes in meeting patients where they are, getting to know them as individuals, and working collaboratively to create personalized treatment plans that support their goals. For Clayton, helping patients achieve successful outcomes is the most rewarding part of his career. He was inspired by his older brother, who is also a licensed occupational therapist.

Outside of work, Clayton volunteers with the Center for Disability Services (CDS) at Western Michigan University, a skill-building day program that serves adults with disabilities. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching basketball and golf with friends and family.
