Profile

Dr. Simmons knew he was destined to be a doctor since he was 7 or 8 years old. He loved science and was always drawn to helping others. He chose family medicine in particular because it allowed me to be flexible in caring for patients from birth to the elderly. It also allowed him to care for and get to know families as a whole.

Dr. Simmons says four Bishops in his church have been the biggest influences in his life. They instructed him and are living examples in the ways of Jesus Christ, which has been instrumental in his approach to caring for patients in a compassionate way. “I am excited to work every day because it gives me the chance to use the God-given talent I’ve been ordained with to influence, make an impression, be a difference maker in patient’s lives.”

Dr. Simmons has a special interest in doing office procedures like lesion/mole removal, joint injections, wound repair, splinting, etc. He volunteers doing outreach activities with his church and enjoys doing different areas of fitness (P90x, crossrope, yoga and HIIT training).
