Location Information

Ellen Daly became a physician assistant (PA) because she is passionate about serving the public and using her skills to help others who are in need. Ellen has also always had a passion for cardiology and is continually amazed at the beauty of a beating heart and the resilience of the human body. Prior to becoming a PA, she worked as a paramedic in Ann Arbor, Mich. Ellen was exposed to all different kinds of emergencies, but it taught her how to be a calming leader in the midst of chaos and fear - which she carried through to her job now as a PA. Her favorite part of coming to work now is seeing her patients. She is grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of a healthcare team that takes care of so many individuals. She also believes every patient has a story to tell and is eager to listen to each of their stories.

Ellen's biggest influences in life are her parents. They taught her to work hard for what she wants. Ellen's dad is the hardest working person she knows and who, despite adversity, always treats every person he meets as a brother or sister and can make anybody laugh. Ellen's mother was a teacher for 30 years and taught her how to be patient and empathetic.

When Ellen is not working, she likes to read, garden, run and play with her Vizla puppy. She loves to be outside and on water - especially Lake Michigan and the Florida Keys. Ellen also volunteers in her free time. Most recently she was in the Dominican Republic providing family medicine care in rural areas and in Chicago with the medical mobile van, which was a clean needle exchange program that also offered free medical services and screenings.
