Profile

Dr. Tiderington chose gastroenterology because of his fascination with the field. “There are new medical discoveries made nearly every day,” he said. “The positive impact those discoveries can make in people’s lives is very exciting.”

He credits family members who have dealt with health issues as being his biggest influence as a physician. Witnessing as family members coped with health issues and made their through the health system helped to shape his role as a physician in a very different way. Dr. Tiderington enjoys the opportunity to learn something new from each of his patients and always looks forward to helping them with their care.

He is excited to be a part of the Kalamazoo community and looks forward to exploring the parks and museums with his wife and high-energy toddler.
