My Approach to Care

When I see a patient in acute care, I have two goals - to get them to smile and to get them to move. One out of two is merely okay. If I can accomplish both, their day will be brighter and I will have succeeded as a physical therapist.

Evan likes working with patients and getting them to smile, especially when they are feeling at a low point, like when they’re in the hospital. He comes to work each day to try and make their lives better. Evan finds inspiration from the bible and his experiences while living in South Korea which broadened his world perspective beyond the American viewpoint.

Outside of work, Evan likes to study Korean, cycle and spend time with his family and dog. He also volunteers at his church leading in praise and song and guiding as an elder as well as the Salvation Army soup kitchen.
