My Approach to Care

My patients are my priority, I treat them as my family. I listen to them, do my best to understand their concerns and provide them with excellent care. I try to understand medical, cultural and psycho social aspects of their health. I practice with compassion and care for my patients and always treat them with respect. I believe in fully explaining the diagnosis and evidenced-based treatment plan to my patients so that they are involved in the decision making.

A career in family medicine was the right fit for Dr. Hina because of the variety of patients she is able to see and she enjoys making a positive difference for her patients. Dr. Hina was strongly influenced by her family as they have always supported her and encouraged her to work hard and achieve her goals. Dr. Hina finds great satisfaction in coming to work each day and being able to help someone and make them feel better. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and treating chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, depression and anxiety.

Dr. Hina enjoys serving her community when she isn't busy helping her patients. She also uses her free time to be with her family and friends and read journals.
