My Approach to Care

“Having to take care of our obstetric and gynecologic health can be stressful at times. My goal is to ease the process by practicing evidence-based medicine and by listening to each patients’ needs. The most rewarding part of the day is being able to see a happy patient and a pleased family!”

Dr. Uribe loves working as an OB/GYN provider because every day in the office looks different. “One day can be easy and peaceful. The next, you are experiencing an adrenaline rush.” She is specifically interested in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and adolescents medicine.

Dr. Uribe is passionate about different cultures and is committed to delivering care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of her patients. In collaboration with fellow doctors from around the world, Dr. Uribe has published two books (Doctoras con Alas and Migrating Physicians). Both books were written to help people – both physicians as well as migrants in general – find encouragement and feel motivated to achieve their dreams.

Outside of work, Dr. Uribe loves spending time with her family. She enjoys going for walks, playing soccer with her sons, and enjoying a cup of coffee with her husband.
