My Approach to Care

I bring a fun energetic energy to something that isn’t usually fun. I understand what it’s like being a patient because I was a patient, having small injuries and major surgery. I recognize the ups and downs that come with this process and give a unique approach to each person’s rehabilitation to ensure they achieve their goals and can return to doing the things they want to get back to doing.

J. Max had multiple sports injuries and knee surgeries over the years, which allowed him to appreciate what physical therapy can do for someone. He enjoys helping people get back to doing what they love through movement and helping them celebrate their success. His favorite part of the job is working with local high school athletes and handling vestibular/concussion rehabilitation cases.   

Outside of work, J. Max enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering with his wife for their sons’ travel soccer club and their daughter’s school events, swimming and traveling to sporting events all over the Midwest. He is also an avid golfer and a huge Detroit Lions fan.
