Profile

What makes Dr. DeCarli excited to come to work every day? She loves the opportunity to make a positive impact on her patients, while having fun along the way. Dr. DeCarli was influenced at an early age to become a family care doctor – as she looked up to her own primary care provider, who cared for her entire family. “He took care of my entire family which I feel made him a more effective doctor for us, since he was familiar with social factors that impacted our health. Not only was he a great doctor, but he genuinely cared about my family. That is how I strive to provide care.” Dr. DeCarli formerly served in the United States Air Force. Seeing other men and women making such huge sacrifices for their families also made a lasting impression on her.

Though she provides care for patients of all ages and health conditions, Dr. DeCarli has a special interest in obesity medicine. She has been a diplomat with the American Board of Obesity Medicine since 2011.

Outside of work, Dr. DeCarli and her family volunteer at an organization that is a working farm for adults with disabilities. When she isn’t busy at work or in the community, Dr. DeCarli enjoys cooking, traveling and gardening.
