Kerisa became a physician assistant for the opportunity to bridge gaps in healthcare access. Kerisa values meaningful relationships and strives to foster them with her patients. Her passion for science fuels her desire to help patients better understand their own bodies and take an active role in their health. Kerisa was drawn to internal medicine because of the variety and complexity of medical conditions it encompasses. What excites Kerisa about coming to work every day is the opportunity to connect with members of her own community—whether patients, families or colleagues, she looks forward to making a positive impact.

Kerisa’s outstanding experiences as a student at Bronson inspired her decision to join the team. The memorable mentorship she received and the high standard of patient care she observed motivated her to continue her career in the same environment.

Kerisa has been deeply influenced by the people in her life who encourage her to grow and challenge herself personally and professionally. She holds the belief that you can learn something from anyone.

In her free time, Kerisa loves exploring new restaurants, listening to music, dancing, hiking and rollerblading. She also volunteers as a medical aid at marathons.
