Profile

Kimberly’s grandmother was a nurse’s aide while she was growing up and would sometimes tag along when her grandmother went to work. She remembers thinking that she wanted to do what her grandmother did, caring for people and helping them during an illness. Kimberly did follow along in those footprints and became a nurse. While Kimberly loved being a nurse, she knew she could do even more for patients as a provider. Becoming a nurse practitioner was the next logical step.

Kimberly looks forward to interacting with her patients every day. Talking with them, problem solving and working toward a common goal are especially rewarding for her. She finds it so gratifying to be a partner in the health of her patients.

Kimberly has gone on medical missions in the past and enjoys participating in programs like Sew Powerful, a program that delivers hope and provides feminine hygiene supplies to girls living in third world countries. In her free time, Kimberly likes to quilt, hike, camp, kayak and spend time with her family.
