“I want to help each of my patients be as healthy as they can possibly be! Working with each patient to find the best solution(s) for their health concerns is so fulfilling. I have a particular interest in using lifestyle changes to improve a patient’s current health concern, as well as their overall health.”

Dr. Verstraete has always had an interest in learning how things work. Throughout high school, she became more interested in human bodies and their function. Working in family medicine, she gets to see a little bit of everything. “Each day brings a unique challenge, but I also get to know my patients and see them over the course of their life.” Dr. Verstraete enjoys being able to follow patients through their health journey, whether that be a few months or many years – getting to help them gradually improve their health.

In her spare time, Dr. Verstraete enjoys hiking, bicycling, knitting and gardening.
