My approach to physical therapy centers on personalized, evidence-based care that addresses the unique functional goals and biological needs of every patient. I work to identify root causes of movement dysfunction rather than treating isolated symptoms. Through a blend of manual therapy, corrective exercise and patient education, I empower individuals to take a central role in their recovery.

Laurie chose to become a Physical Therapist because of a desire to combine her love of anatomy and physiology with a passion for helping people. Laurie found the perfect career to combine healthcare, coaching and problem-solving.

Laurie loves that physical therapy is truly an invigorating profession. It's not just science of the human body, it's the daily rhythm of watching the "impossible" become "possible." It's the thrill of being a detective for the human body and finding the "key" that unlocks someone's mobility. Witnessing milestones being met and celebrating victories with the patients is why Laurie finds joy in her work every day.

Laurie's greatest supporter was always her mother: the primary architect of her life. She was the embodiment of kindness, always looking for ways to lift others up. Beyond being Laurie's greatest supporter, she was her sanctuary and the one person who backed her every ambition, even when Laurie's path was a mystery to her.

To recharge Laurie likes to read, walk and watch sunsets at the beach.  She enjoys social and community activities such as league bowling and going to the theater. Laurie also loves tending both her flower and herb garden even though she may not have a green thumb.
