Profile

From his time as a young child, through his journey through medical school and specialty training, Dr. Russell's parents always supported him. During his elementary and high school years, Dr. Russell played sports. Unfortunately, incurred injuries. He spent lots of time with orthopedic physicians and at that point knew he wanted to become an orthopedic surgeon.

As a board certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Russell specializes in joint replacement surgery, sports injuries and trauma. He is amazed how much surgical procedures, such as shoulder replacement surgery, have changed and significantly improved over the years. For the first 24 years of his career, Dr. Russell practiced in Lansing and was chairman of the orthopedic department. Even though the decision to leave Lansing was hard, he has been glad that he moved his practice to Battle Creek.

In his free time, Dr. Russell and his wife enjoy spending time with their six children and seven grandchildren.

The comments and star ratings you see here reflect the views and opinions of patients who have completed and returned their surveys. Press Ganey independently compiles the data and forwards it to Bronson to be posted.
