My Approach to Care

As a urogynecologist and reconstructive pelvic surgeon, my passion is helping women regain confidence and comfort through improved pelvic health. I understand that pelvic floor disorders can be both challenging and isolating, so I strive to create a compassionate, supportive environment where every patient feels heard and understood. By offering a comprehensive range of treatment options, my goal is not only to relieve symptoms, but also to enhance each patient’s overall quality of life and help them achieve their personal health goals. I find great fulfillment in guiding women through these complex conditions and showing them the life-changing possibilities that urogynecology can offer.

Dr. Michael Pezzillo chose the field of urogynecology to make a real difference in the lives of women with pelvic health problems. He is dedicated to patient advocacy and believes in providing care that is both comprehensive and compassionate. His goal is to help patients regain confidence and improve their quality of life.

 

Dr. Pezzillo says his parents are his biggest inspirations. Their constant support and encouragement helped shape who he is today. He enjoys working with patients who have complex conditions and creating treatment plans that meet each person’s unique needs. His clinical interests include Pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, complex pelvic surgery, obstetric trauma and fistulas.

 

Outside of work, he is active in his local church and has taken part in medical mission trips. He looks forward to continuing that work in the future. In his free time, Dr. Pezzillo enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, weightlifting and trying new restaurants.
