Samantha chose a career in athletic training because it tied together her love for sports and her desire to help people within a healthcare setting.

She credits her dad as the biggest influence in her life. Her dad is an Army veteran who has always shown hard work, perseverance and dedication to his family above all else. He treats people with kindness and is the type of person who Samantha has always strived to become.

Samantha gets you excited about coming to work each day because her student-athletes are the best part of her job. They always bring energy to her training room. Each day brings something new.

In her free time, Samantha enjoys being around her family and friends. She is an avid runner who has run eight half marathons, one full marathon and countless 5k and 10k races. She also enjoys playing golf and being on the water.
