Scott chose to become an occupational therapist because he has a strong interest in helping others and has always enjoyed science and anatomy. His mom is his biggest influence; she taught him to work hard and be kind to others. He is excited to come to work each day because he enjoys solving problems, helping his patients get better and has the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. 

Scott was the mayor of the city he lives in and has been involved in city government for nearly 16 years. He has held various roles, including Mayor, city council member and board member for the planning commission, housing commission, SHAES and parks commission.  He also serves on the Great Lakes Coalition (working on Shoreline restoration).  

In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife, kids and dogs. He also enjoys being outdoors.
