Profile

Sheena was raised from infancy by her maternal grandmother after the passing of her mother. Being raised solely by her divorced grandmother instilled in her the values of family, persistence, and striving to be your best.

Sheena became a nurse to help those in need. As her nursing career continued, she decided she wanted to further her education and become a nurse practitioner. She chose a focus of adult-gerontology with a special interest in wound care. Sheena considers chronic wound care to be a challenging area of medicine, one that will allow her to expand her skills while providing personalized care for her patients. She considers her current position in the wound center to be her dream job.

In her free time, Sheena enjoys scrapbooking, card making, reading, watching movies and spending time with family.
