Profile

Dr. Kvint chose to pursue neurosurgery because the nervous system is irreplaceable—it defines who we are and how we experience the world. Within neurosurgery, she chose to sub-specialize in endovascular treatments because they combine precision, innovation, and rapid advances in technology. This specialty allows her to work in a field that is both intellectually challenging and constantly evolving, while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Having been born in a country with limited access to medical care and experiencing the loss of family members as a result, Dr. Kvint has long believed that medicine is a right, not a privilege. Those experiences continue to shape her perspective and inspire her commitment to providing compassionate, equitable care to every patient she serves.

Dr. Kvint is driven each day by the challenge to uncover a diagnosis, earn the trust that transforms the physician–patient relationship into a true partnership, and to apply the latest advances and innovations to choose the best approach to care. She feels that the greatest reward is seeing patients overcome obstacles, regain their independence, and ultimately to no longer need her care.

Dr. Kvint’s clinical interests include cerebrovascular disease, stroke care, traumatic brain injury and brain tumors, with a particular focus on caring for acutely ill patients where timely decisions and coordinated care can make an immediate and lasting impact. She finds great fulfillment in clinical research and its potential to drive meaningful advances in patient care.

Outside of work, she loves exploring new places through travel, cooking meals to share with family, and spending time outdoors hiking with her dog.
