Profile

Trudy chose to become a nurse practitioner in neurocritical care because she enjoys helping others, learning about the intricacies of the human body and implementing treatments for healing. She developed a passion for critical care and the complex patient in nursing school. Being able to support patients and families during an intense time in their lives is rewarding for Trudy.

The biggest influence in Trudy's life are her grandparents. They led lives that displayed kindness, generosity, and selflessness. Traveling has also influenced her life and her approach to patient care—being able to see and experience different cultures validated the importance of treating every patient as an individual.

Trudy enjoys learning and finding new ways to challenge herself. In her free time, she volunteers doing a variety of activities throughout the community, travels, runs, enjoys time outdoors and spends time with her family and friends.
