Profile

Zachary has been passionate about healthcare since high school when he realized he could make a positive impact on people's lives. He chose to become a physician assistant, specializing in internal medicine because it gives him the flexibility to work with a variety of patients and practice different areas of medicine.

His experience as a patient care assistant in places like nursing homes, intensive care units (ICU) and emergency departments has given him a unique view of the challenges patients go through. Zachary’s brother works as a nurse in a trauma care setting. This influenced him to become the healthcare professional he is today.

What makes Zachary excited about going to work each day is the chance to work with a great team and provide excellent care to his patients. He is particularly interested in cardiology and orthopedics.

In his free time, Zachary enjoys backpacking, sewing camping gear, rock climbing and playing basketball.
