MyChart Two-Factor Authenticator

To help protect and secure your personal health information, two-factor authentication (2FA) is available to all Bronson MyChart users. Two-factor authentication protects your account and personal health information by asking you to verify your account activity via a security code that can be enabled 2 different ways:

1. A confirmation code via text message or email.
2. Using a Google or iOS Authenticator App.

Turn on Two-Factor Authentication

1. Log into your MyChart account and navigate to your Security Settings page. Click Disabled for your preferred way to use Two Factor Authentication.
   • You can choose to verify with email or text message or verify with an Authenticator App.
2. If you choose to enable the Authenticator App:
   • Download the Google or iOS authenticator app from your phone’s app store.
   • Verify your identity with your MyChart password. Click Continue. 
   • Set up your Authenticator App.
   • Go to your Authenticator App on your mobile device to get your security code and enter it into the box. Click Verify.
   • Once your identity has been verified your authenticator app will be enabled. Click Finish.
   • When logging into your MyChart you will be asked to enter a code from your Authenticator App.
3. If you choose to enable Email or Text Message:
   • Verify your email address and mobile phone number based on how you want to receive your security code. Enter your MyChart password to verify your identity. Click Continue. 
   • Choose if you would like the security code to be sent via Text Message or Email every time you log into MyChart.
   • Enter the security code that was sent to you based on your choice of text message or email.
