- 4-on-4 Coed Volleyball League — Play begins Sunday, March 9
A new indoor, coed league debuts this season. Teams may be composed of four to six players; must have at least two males and two females on each team. Schedules updated weekly; eight weeks of guaranteed play.
- IronBAC Sprint Triathlon — Saturday, March 22
The 11th Annual IronBAC Indoor Triathlon consists of a 20-minute swim, a 20-minute bike ride and a 20-minute run, with a five-minute transition period between each event. There are 10 different start times available, and space is limited to the first 60 participants. It's a great opportunity to compete in a triathlon at your own pace, and a friendly and positive experience for first timers, including the endurance athlete and novice alike. - SCUBA Certification — Tuesdays & Thursdays, March 11-27
Explore the underwater world! Whatever your dream, Sub-Aquatic Sports can take you there. When you become a certified SCUBA diver, the other 80% of the world (the part covered by water) is your playground. Class size ranges from 5 to 10 students. Group discounts apply. - Self Defense: How to Not Be a Victim — Saturday, March 29
Learn to recognize, eliminate and avoid potential trouble by becoming more aware of one’s daily surroundings, with physical confrontation being the last resort.
- Women's Wellness Expo — Saturday, March 29
Registration opens at 8:15 a.m. at the Fetzer Center on the campus of Western Michigan University. This is a free celebration of Health and wellness presented by Bronson Methodist Hospital and Bronson Athletic Club. Join us for yoga, Tabata Bootcamp,™ healthy running tips, blood pressure checks, medication reviews, a sports injury walk-in clinic, exhibits and door prizes. - Intro to Kettlebell — Tuesday, April 1
Prior to attending the Kettlebell FIT class you must have a basic level of kettlebell experience. Nonmembers welcome; sessions held at 12:15 and 6 p.m.
- Peak Combat — Fridays, through April 4
Join Personal Trainer Ian Papworth, the BAC's own international-level martial arts and combat expert, for a body conditioning journey based on the training used by mixed martial arts, karate and boxing athletes. Ian will make you sweat, but the drills are designed for all levels of fitness and ability.
- Spring Break Basketball Clinic — April 4, 7, 9 and 11
Here's a chance for your kids to get some great experience on the courts with Coach Ryan Hamet. Three age brackets for boys and girls ages 5 to 12.
- FREE Nordic Walking Clinic — Wednesday, April 9
Join Casey Gershon, a certified Nordic walking instructor, for this introductory session using poles on a trek to fitness.
- NEW! Triathlon Training — Begins April 23
Join BAC Personal Trainer Michelle Dalton in a 10-week training program geared toward athletes with no triathlon experience, and those who have completed two or three events at a beginner level.
