Prescriptions - Bronson Healthcare

Prescriptions Overview

We are now using an electronic method of prescribing prescriptions for our patients. This electronic method allows us to send prescriptions directly to your pharmacy. Controlled narcotic substances and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD or ADD) medicines still need a paper prescription. This can either be sent to you in the mail or you can pick up from our office.

We can also provide our patients with a list of their medications, including dosage and other important information, for their records or to share with other healthcare providers.

Please bring your actual medication bottles or a current list of all medications to each visit. Plan ahead on which prescriptions you need refilled to avoid running out of medications. Refills should be taken care of at the time of the office visit. Allow two business days for medicine refill requests to be completed. To better serve you, we have 24-hour prescription refill lines:

  • Portage - (269) 324-2418

  • Oshtemo - (269) 372-7557

Antibiotics or pain medications cannot be prescribed over the phone, and an office visit is required before prescribing antibiotics and other new prescriptions.

You can also refill your children's prescription using MyChart.
